all i can say is......GENGAR FTW!! lol, played every pokemon game (anime sucks, the games are ok'ish) my fave game would have to be crystal. The games are getting a bit repetitive though, they should have pokemon take drugs and use weapons (a pikachu on cocaine with a baseball bat would be amusing lol)

I cant beleive no one gave love to Alakazam. What better pokemon then the one that can utterly destroy anything without moving a muscle. But then again as a sage i do prefer mysticism to actual reality. Anywho i agree that this game has begun going downhill and speeding ahead everyday, just to repetitive.

Kazam is a really good special sweeper, probably the best in the non uber crowd. I don't mind him, he's cool looking and really really strong.

Yeah, but I always disliked how u have to trade a Kadabra, Machoke, Haunter, etc. to make it evolve. It just doesn't feel like ur pokemon anymore when you get it back, or it feels like you had to cheat to get such a cool pokemon and it makes it so they don't like you as much, like they are a whole newly-captured pokemon all over again and you no longer have that bond-like thing with them. I guess I'm not much of a trading person- probably cause it can be used in the wrong way too often.

The happiness counter is reset when you trade to the Pokémon's base happiness, which is significantly higher for trade evolving Pokémon than most others, which means they like you more than most.

The trade aspect of Pokémon was a scheme to make people either buy two games, or convince their friends to buy one, similar to the way that you can't catch all of the Pokémon in any one game without trading with another Game Pak. It's not cheating at all (unless you're talking about the executives at Game Freak).

Pokemon Black and White will be released in Japan sometime this year.

-The three starters were revealed: Tsutaja (grass), Pokabu (Fire), and Mijumaru (Water).
-The Pokemon have now fighting stances.
-Human Characters Revealed: Araragi (Professor, female), both protagonists (the guy's Black and the girl's White), the rival, Cheren (some guy), and a supposed villain.
-New Features: Triple Battles, "Shooter" instead of Bag.
-Another pokemon revealed: Zorua, Zoroark (both star the 13th movie), Reshiram and Zekrom (Legendaries), Moguryuu, Doryuuzu (both moles), Ononokusu (I don't know what that is), Desukaan (some mummy?), Denchura (Tarantula), Shimama (Zebra), Mamepato (Pidgeon), Chiramii (Chinchilla), Gears (duh), Hihidaruma (ape), Munna (piggy bank thing), three unknown pokemon also revealed.
-The region is named Isshu.
-Now it's multiplayer! yes, you can log on your PC and shit.
