More of a design exploitation than a cheat. A cheat would be something the designers placed in the game for you to use. This is more of a thing they didn't think about.

In my opinion if you: exploit a glitch, use something that was meant for programmers and testers(like debug mode), or just simply put in a cheat to make the game easier, you are cheating the game and thus...CHEATING.
