I agree with ALL OF Alex's bands. I feel the Exies are over looked as a good band
I also like In Flames, Between the Buried and ME and a LOT of other bands. My personal favorites right now have to be Soilwork though. I have almost every CD they have come out with and none of which are disapointing in the least (to me anyways)

The two CDs i would have to recomend form them to start off is Stabing the Drama and Sworn to a great divide

they are similar to Static-X i think....or Sonic Syndicate. They have a screaming over tone with a nice amount of regular singing on the side. To me its like meat with a side of potatos
