Like I said, it's not that hard. Public speaking is just a lesson in how to beat a moronic phobia, and a 45 minute presentation is just a test of how long I can stand in one place. I could preach about anything in a bag of topics for 45 minutes, String Theory, Relativity, Things I hate, Reforming Government, World War I/II, the list goes on. And I don't need any time to prepare, I could literally go and find a public official who is speaking to a crowd, punch out the official, then rant to the audience for an hour easy.

I guess other people might have had a problem with that course, but I would have been bored with how easy it is. I decided to pick a more challenging, tech based course called MST, and the selling point was this: The problems in MST have an infinite number of solutions. The purpose of the course is to teach students to think about the problem instead of finding a specific solution. It teaches engineering principles at a high school level, and it's awesome. Actually, it was the main reason I went to a mechanical engineering course in college.

To give an example, the first project was to make a craft to slowly bring an astronaut back to space in a scale model airplane, using a set amount of weight, being able to fold the paper as much as we wanted but unable to remove any material or add any material. The projects were all tested to see which had the minimal landing velocity, and the best submission was a crumpled ball.
