songs for gaming to?

i just wanted to know what kind of music do you listen to when playing games do you have a specific playlist or just watever you like? have you maybe had some epic set ups during games whilst listening to music (listening to a song that seems to perfectly fit the scenario your playing through on your game) and would you recomend any games to listen to whilst playing certain games?

I don't normally use outside music during games.

I'm fine with the music the game provides.

Generally, in game music is preferred, although I do sometimes mix shit around. whatever comes up on iTunes, and if it sucks then I skip it.

For Racing-I play the Rock/Metal
For Shooters-I play the Metal
For Platformers-In games usually works
For Hack 'n Slash-I play the Metal
For RPG-In game works until I'm training
For RPG training-I play whatever I'm in the mood for
For Mario-I can't stand any outside music
For GTA-I play the Metal
...I think that about sums it up.

Usually the ingame works, but if I'm playing against friends at a lan I usually have a rock/techno soundtrack in the background.

any songs in particular? and really? i usually get sick of in game within about an hour thats why i have like 40 albums on my 360 that and my computer and soon my laptop. ive had some epic set ups whilst playing resi5 i had prodigy on and i swear i was playing omen and it was the cut scene where criss and sheva are being attacked and it kicked in with the "we are the prodigy" line just as it zoomed in on that sniper on the roof that saved criss and sheva. i swear i was like fucking timing or what!! and i had a few epic moments just reaping zombies to the berzerker epic album for fighting games ^^
