Harry Potter isnt my cup of tea and twilight.... well.... ill never see it! unlessssssss......... muahahahaha

Harry potter was fine.....until 5 book and onwards, the last book was so disappointing.....Twilight......I can't believe I betted that I could read the whole saga.....I wish I didn't make that bet.......I read the whole saga and arrrrrrrrgh I wanna die!!!!

Please, friend I am no wannabe scene kid and they all like the book for the wrong reasons anyways. The first movie was the nly one I saw and it was pretty awful compared with the book. The books are really kinda cute and cool when you use your own imagination rather than all the stupid movie-related wannabe images and hype, so really you shouldn't juge them just based on the movies or the stupid wannabe kids (they are kinddaa girly though sooo idk if you'd enjoy them anyhow).
Btw, if you don't like something that someone else is trying to enjoy and are ruining it for them they are obviously are going to give you death glares. :-) so ya know

You are confusing book and movie. Hell my mom read the books, as did most middle age and up (and down) girls. The movie is whats in Hot Topic not the book.

Edit: Also wanted to add that more than likely the bulk of the people that have seen the movie never read the books.

Wow, that's quite the hostile post you got, thar. I ain't no wannabe scene kid, and I ain't no overwieght 36 year old dude, and I ain't no pedophile. You can't judge a piece by its fans, most definitely. I'll agree that most people who love Harry Potter and Twilight have most likely only read 11 books in their entire lives, I'll even give you the whole entire movie thing (both Twilight movies are so bad, it's not even worth it), but you gotta give the books a chance. You might have a case of the Placebo Effect; you think the book will suck, therefore it does. If you remember back to AT9's post a while back, the one about playing videogames that he wouldn't have played normally, then you can take the same lesson here. If you can learn to step back from Halo and play Kirby, then you can just as easily switch from a Stephen King book to a book by a Mormon chick about vampires.

As for the actual inner workings of the Twilight series, I hate how the idea of a vampire has been twisted and reworked, and I do tire of hearing all about the MC's wet dreamy boyfriend, but there's action in them there pages, and you just gotta dig right in and find it! Harry Potter, too, there's the whole retarded "Yar a wizzerd, Harry" thing, but then there's a bunch-ton of intricate sub-plot that is fairly rewarding at the end, almost as deep as the philosophy behind the Triforce, and if you cared to read between the lines for Link, then you should probably give Harry that same chance.

Also, if you make noise in a theater, you should expect dirty stares anyway. All in all, it's just another brick in the wall of text.

hmmm anyway i don't like wannabe fags and those that bring books and films down to their level. as for the whole faggory behind the books i haven't read the books so i'm not judging you by them i'm just judging the films. i have read 1 or 2 of the hp books and they were ok but not my thing as for twilight i'm sure the book is different from the films (so says my gf) and so i judge the film not the book but i have to say i still would definitely not read the twilight books. back on topic hope they don't become kh characters and the twilight movie has just brought to light the euphemism behind vampires. ie they suck/gay lawl ><
