Just a general Discussion about the plethora of Zelda games.

My favorite is Ocarina. I'm playing Zelda DX and Twilight Pirncess now actually.

[My favorite is actually for the SNES, called A Link to The Past. My second favorite is Twilight Princess, Wind Waker being a close third]

The favourite is of course Ocarina of Time, unbeatable. Nothing will ever come near to it's unique feel. Wind Waker was alright. TP I somehow didn't like that much altogether, somehow it didn't feel like a real Zelda, too modern. I'm just too old-fashioned. I beat it though. A few things that pissed me off: WHY THE HEAVEN DO THEY HAVE TO TELL YOU EVERY TIME YOU BEGIN TO PLAY HOW MUCH THE RUPEESS ARE WORTH? LIKE YOU CAN'T FIGURE THAT OUT YOURSELF. 2nd thing: The Cave in the desert. With about a million hardcore enemy rooms. And what is the reward at the very end? THE SPRINGS HAVE FAIRIES! C'MON!!! I expected, aw man, probably I'll get a Supermega Weapon or sword. no, the springs have fairies. Every other Zelda had them right away. "Oh, you came so far? Well, you just get some fairies for the springs, haha!"  Still, it was worth the play and had a few quite interesting ideas. The Sliding Game in the Snow Castle (which was cool itself, the yeti wife was cute) was quite challenging and fun. Cool graphics (especially the Dark World with its spooky atmosphere). And, well, f**king spiked mace is f**king jawsome. And while we're talking about Zelda, Majora's Mask should also get a special mention. I mean, I never heard of a game where the moon's gonna destroy the earth in exactly three days. Correct me if I'm wrong. The storyline alone is worth an oscar. All the surreal ideas, the apocalyptic feeling, a peaceful garden in the moon, the masks, the music, interesting characters, a very experimental & unique Zelda.

[I agree with lots of things you said, and also disagree on some points. AS far as the Pit of 100 trials goes, I thought that was FUCKING SWEET. Yeah, you only get faries every so many floors, but dude, that place remains challenging, even after you've beat the game. Its' a place to have fun anytime you want on a beaten file. I didn't like TP as much the first time through, but the second I freaking loved it. Majora's was very unique, but they fucked it all up with the saving system. It's either play an entire chapter all the way through in one sitting, or save at an owl, then forget you did it later on and just shut your game off. As a result, I've never beat that freaking game. >_<]

MAJORA'S MASK!The save system lead me to not beat this game.I did like aspects of it and it was fun.Here is how I work,once I start getting pissed off at a game I either shut it off or continue playing and break shit.With Majora's Mask I shut it down to prevent myself from breaking shit,and then I realize that I lost all that work I just put in.Then,I break shit anyway.

Majora's mask was mad fun. I was one of the douches whom actually went and got the fierce deity mask. There a way to get the mask and use it outside of boss rooms. Has anyone ever done it?

I beat MM once, and never had the urge to do again. My cousin helped me a few times with the game completion and finding some masks though. Especially the Couple's mask, the hardest one which requires all three days! And you get the mask 1 minute before the End of the World.

I only have Orcarina of Time and Majora's Mask cause I have only N64 for nintendo systems. Orcarina of time was amazing, as stated above except the water temple was so annoying cause it always takes soo long to find all of the keys. Majora's Mask has a very annoying save system, I agree, but I did get pretty far before I could not figure out how to get into the temple where you have to make all the statues of yourself. Oh well. Also have 2 for the GBA system, but I don't remember how far I got in those, it has been too long.

Hahaha seriously though even beating the game my 2nd and third times it took FOREVER cause the keys were everywhere and there were just so many doors to unlock. I think one of my favorite parts of the game is playing the Orcarina to go places. The songs were all like perfectly matched with the places themselves. Also shooting arrows while riding epona. AND those Gerudo people were awsome. I think the hardest battle in the game though was fighting my shadow.
