Fighting Games General

I'm surprised there's not even a single post here about them.

[They aren't really my thing personally, save for DBZ games. I'll go down on some DBZ shit]

I remember Mortal Kombat and Street fighters as a kid for nintendo(s?). Those were soooo much fun!!! Super Smash is awesome too and that wrestling game... and Dragonball Z games, yes. Other ones I've played are mostly too bulky or difficult to play for me like Soul Caliber (kinda intense comboing => button mashing) and that other game... the one with the leopard-headed guy names King i think? Yeah that one's kinda bult and slow moving for me

Best fighting games:

Mortal Kombat for PSX and PS2, for the brutality.
Super Smash Bros (all three) for N64, Gamecube and Wii, for its awesome multiplayer awesomeness.
Marvel VS Capcom 2 for Dreamcast and PS2, for its overall awesomeness.
BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger for PSP, just because I like it.
Tekken 3 and 5 for PS2.

Fighting games I'm longing for:

Mortal Kombat for 360.
Marvel VS Capcom 3 for 360 and PS3.
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift for 360 and PS3.

Other than those games... I'm not very fond of fighting games.
